Just to name a few…. LOl.

I liked Wild N Crazy Kids, Salute Your Shorts, Are You Afraid Of The Dark, Hey Dude, You Can't Say That on Television, David the Gnome, and Family Double Dare.
And some show about a family that lived with dinosaurs.

Nickelodeon was late on the scene over here, but I used to watch Sister Sister, Pete and Pete, Clarissa and something else which I can't remember lol.

So did I. That was a genuinely creepy show. Some really good episodes. :).

"Roundhouse" was part of the SNICK lineup at one time, too...I liked that show as well.

I watched a lot of these other shows, too. I never got into "Pete and Pete", personally, though. And I rarely watched "Land of the Lost".

Does anyone else remember a show called "Kids' Court"? It used to be on at 5 am on Saturdays. I watched that a lot, too. And sometimes I watched "Mr. Wizard" as well.

I also always watched "Nick News".

Man, this thread brings a lot of memories.

Nickelodeon was hardcore in the early 90s. :D ;)

'Hey Dude!'...*chuckles*...First show I ever watched on cable television. I was in 1st grade when we got it. Came home from school, sat on top of the couch (as in, not on the cushions, but on the back), leaned against the wall and started flipping through the channels, amazed at all of them.
Can you guess why I stopped at 'Hey Dude!'?
The dudes, of course.

It still amuses me to think about it. I was so used to the stuff on PBS, I was very excited to find what great things existed outside of it :p.

Another thing they used to have on Nick was the Muppet Babies (http://www.tvtome.com/tvtome/servlet/ShowMainServlet/showid-3101/).
I used to love that. The storylines were so imaginative to me.

Was Legend of the Hidden Temple a game show? If so, I liked it.

Aah! Classic Nickelodeon! Are You Afraid of the Dark? was my favorite show for quite a while. Along with Pete and Pete, Salute Your Shorts and Rocko's Modern Life. Oh man, I miss those shows.

OH MAN. I love Nickelodeon. My friend has satellite and she gets Nickelodeon GAS (Games and Sports) and they rerun a lot of the old gameshows.

My favorites were: Alex Mack, Pete and Pete, Legends of the Hidden Temple (the Silver Snakes always kicked ass), What Would You do, Rocko's Modern Life, Double Dare, and tons more.

Oh man.

I like to say, "Don't step on the white ones. Hot lava. PINEAPPLES!" on occasion, too. :).

And my sister and I still sing the "R-E-C-Y-C-L-E, recycle!" song, too.

Two of my favorite episodes of that show ever were the ones where Heffer brought that elk home to dinner, and the one where Heffer found out he was adopted (any episodes involving Heffer's family were great).

How about the episode when Rocko brought home that giant TV and they watched it all night and it sucked Heffer's brain out? Heh heh heh...one of the shows was "Night of the Shaved Kittens." So great.

umm there was this other show that i remember that was set in a western ranch place.. or watever... and in the beginning of each show they would show the sign at the front.... was it called "dude ranch" or something???? o well...
i hate the crap that they have on now... it just isn't as entertainin as it used 2 b...

I used to watch all of those but either I'm too old or everyone hated Roundhouse. :( Classic.

My god, I forgot all about "Salute your Shorts".....I miss that show with a vengence!

I didn't have Nickelodeon when I was a kid, but I saw some stuff from it on other channels... Kenan and Kel, Clarissa, Are You Afraid of the Dark, i remember liking them.

Ahhh...those were the good ol' days. Back with Pogs, Pepsi, and Nickelodeon. lol

pete&pete and rockos modern life were the best. i saw R'sML on tv like 2 weeks ago. oh man that show had a lot of referances that only adults would get. they had like referances to The Wall and tripping on acid. so awesome lol


what was that cartoon with like the nasty monsters. it was like 3 freinds that went to school together, the girl was like this b&w pole figure. i remember really liking that too

Pete and Pete was awesome, even though it first came out when I was, like, 6 yrs old, but now I can watch re-runs on channel 120 (digtal cable)

that was my favorite show!!! i miss classic nickelodeon so much. it makes me cry. I also loved the first All That. it had kenan,kel, amanda bynes and many other people. Some other shows i remember include:the mystery files of shelby woo(i loved that shit!), rockos modern life, ren and stimpy, pete and pete, clarissa explains it all, figure it out, double dare, wild and crazy kids, ahh real monsters, alex mack, my brother and me, kenan and kel, cousin skeeter, angry beavers(halloween episode!)doug, and one that was cancelled not too long ago-invader zim. Now nickelodeon sucks. it has none of the old good shows. the old nickelodeon brings back so many memories:(
