hey everyone. if u dont know me i'm don. i used to be a regular on this forum but recently i broke my leg playing football pretty severely so i was in the hospital for a couple o weeks and school has been a b!tch to catch up in. so hopefully i can find some time to post my stuff and read your stuff more. hope u like this song i wrote

life’s not about obsessin over possessions
the gap between the rich and the poor is too large
the poor dont even try any more to get jobs
a mom working 2 jobs cant fill her son’s tummy
he’s out selling drugs to make his lunch money
and it’s funny caus he dont know what he’s done wrong
surviving the only way he knows where he’s from
now open your ears and hear me on your stereo
the world we live in is one big bad scenario
but we can change it as the stewards of creation
be patient and hasten to these words of jubilation
its a sin to see all these babies aborted
lives thwarted caus a mom don't wanna support it
my brothers and sisters being shot down in the streets
before their life's complete the heat leaves um in concrete
just quit walkin on the broken glass tiptoeing past hoping that
time will pass and it’ll go back the way it was before it was smashed
in this new millennium so much potential
lies in each and everyone of us, stuck in our mental
if everyone wasn’t so damn judgmental
we’d see the essential credentials
justice, happiness, peace, and love
are gifts given by our God above
if we could only open our eyes to the evil
we could unite in the new age as one people
