Umm what excatly can I say about this piece? Well first its the BEST I have ever done, I really enjoyed writing it and I would love to hear you guy's complaints and comments, It may be missing something and Im not sure what it is, Its kinda long, but you'll get it.
DestinyA young girl, dressed all on black,
A young guy from the wrong side of the track.
A moment in time, frozen again.
Eyes locked one another’s,
They pass on the street.
Literary sparks are seen in-between
He lowers his joint
Turns around and takes a quick peek
He makes a quick U-ie, and follows her, her way
A single glimpse into her soul
Had told him all he had wanted to know
Her thick black eyeliner couldn’t hide her eyes
Her black clothes, a less then perfect disguise
He watched her hair, way past her waist
As it flowed with her body, the paleness seeming fake
She turned her head, again catching his gaze
The sparkling of jade, made the guy turn away
His own eyes had grown dim with so many tears
He couldn’t quite capture the brightness of the green-glare
She never smiled, only continued her way
He was quick to follow before her image could fade
His overwhelming aloneness had all disappeared
Losing his way became his only fear
She continued on in front of him, playing the haunting game
Knowing when he asked she would reveal her true name
She circled the block and went back up the street
Not letting him catch her, that was her real feat
She smiled a wide grin, in spite of herself
Letting her feet continue to lead her around
He got curious as to the thoughts confined in her head
What it was that made her want to look, almost, half dead
Her eyes had held a subtle sadness, not one to forget
Some kind of happiness that had always lacked
The marijuana fell from his hand
He was growing tired of the endless charade
Even more tired because he had no other place to be
Somehow he knew way deep inside
His future would lie within those jade-green eyes
His past unimportant, it was past after all
She turned her head towards him once again
The green glowing brighter then getting dim
She stopped on the path, motioned for him to speak
“I’m sorry I followed you, please allow me to leave,”
He said to her in a small voice
She never answered, giving him the choice
She looked startled at him, his eyes a hazel blueness
Her fingers caressed his skin, noting its softness
She closed her eyes, in a soft lingering way
He moved his face toward hers without any delay
Their lips met in a kiss, foreboding but true
She opened her eyes and saw nothing but blue
She smiled, a real smile, and tears came to be
“Why is it you were following me?”
Her voice held caution, seeming about to break
He looked again deep into her eyes
Wondered if he could have found a better surprise
His lips curved upward, forming something new
Something he had only shown to a limited few
His smile was pure, it had came from his heart
Unknowingly he had her where she would have to part
Not saying a word, they turned and looked around
The day seeming new, because of what they had found
Her question left unanswered, her tears flowing free
She asked him yet again: “Why are you following me?”
His turned his eyes downward, wishing for something else
She pulled his gaze toward hers, and his heart started to melt
“I can’t answer this, it’s not that kind of thing”
Her eyes fell to his hand, and saw one single wing
She gasped out loud, fearful at first,
She pulled at her shirt, the seams seemed to burst
Low on her chest, completely unseen
Lay the other one, the pair to the wing.
Her permanent reminder, of a night gone bad
One that she had always seemingly had
Two complete strangers, alone and amiss
Shared more then just a soft loving kiss
Fate had brought them here, brought them together
Tied their bonds tight, using only leather.
They shared the tattoo, a match to a missing wing
More then they had imagined when they were first wakening
The girl’s green eyes grew brighter, at the sudden realization,
Together they shared only one real destination
It took him a moment longer, but then he got it to
Their paths were wound tight, not only one
Now they were two.
Give me your opinions on themes and such and later I will tell you what is about....
Thanks so much....
