Why is it when I see you I smile
Why is it when I see you I am happy
Why is it when I see you at school I get nervous
And hope for you to say something

I walk by everyday hoping to see you standing at your spot
I walk by wishing I was there with you
Wishing I had some meaning in your life
Why is it when you’re not with your friends
You treat me like a queen
Make me feel like I am worth something

Why is it when you’re friends are around I am nothing but a little lovesick puppy
Why is that I let myself be led to harm.
Why do I let you hurt me
Maybe its cause you don’t
Maybe its cause you make me feel like I have some meaning in the world
Make me feel like I am special
When I am with you I want it to never end
But it does..
Why?

Hopefully one day you’ll notice that you need me
Just as much as I need you
But why does that day take forever to come..
Why cant it be tomarrow?
Why couldn’t it have been yesterday?
Why couldn’t it have been today?
When will it be
I want to know

I want to know when I can stop thinking about when the day will come.
As for now I only have two questions
When and Why
Answer me
Answer all my prayers and wishes and..
Just be mine

Aww...that's really good for a newbie. I like it :) I did a "why" poem a while back. they're kinda fun to write even if the subject's not too positive.

Overall, the poem was good, but I'm getting damn tired of that subject. It happens to too many people. Two of my good friends are stuck in that situation.
