I need information on prose writing contests, or places for possible publication for short stories, essays, etc. I did extensive searches on yahoo and google and didn't find many up-to-date things. So any help that I could get would be really appreciated. Especially if anyone had specific things that they could inform me about. Okay, yay. <3

Usually they post them in the back of popular magazines...otherwise I would have recomended you check out writing contests on google.

Yeah...I don't usually read magazines, though. :-/ I was hoping for something I could read about online et al. But thank you. Maybe I could try google again.
